I was honored to be chosen as one 60 SF Bay Area artists to for this juried show exploring what it means to adapt to wildire; an exceptionally important theme with our warming climate. The juror was Emebet B Korn, Founder and Director of DEST A Gallery . The gallery in the Marin Civic Center was on display through July 30.

I am excited to announce I am participating in this years Mill Valley Art Festival in booth 146. “From Mammoth to Marin” will feature my large format abstract landscapes inspired by the beauty and splendor of Marin County and Mammoth Lakes.
This year marks the 62nd anniversary for this community event that reflects the spirit of Mill Valley and its purpose of supporting established independent artists and emerging student artists. Some of their proceeds go to their Emerging Artist Scholarship Fund that is granted directly to 2 senior and 2 junior high school artists to support their art with tuition and supplies.
Please join me at booth #146, under the towering redwoods of Old Mill Park on Saturday and Sunday, 10:00a – 5:00pm. Hope to see you there!
Marin Open Studios, May 6 & 7 and 13 & 14, 2017
I am so pleased to be welcoming visitors to my home studio during Marin Open Studios, May 6 & 7 and 13 & 14, 11:00am – 6:00pm. Marin Open Studios has a long tradition in Marin County; they are an organization dedicated to helping the visual arts flourish in Marin County. MOS is one of the first open studio programs in the San Francisco Bay Area, they have a long legacy of connecting artists to the communities where they live and work. You can visit their website for a tour guide & map of local artists participating in the weekends.
I will be displaying selected works, both new and old, specially priced for this event. I would love to show you my new large-format abstract landscapes, inspired by the beauty of Northern California and my travels.
Come visit me at the MOS opening Gala, April 29, at their display space 325 Town Center, Corte Madera. Most of the participating artists have selected works on display as samples of what you can see in their home studios.
